The previous owners of this house didn't take much care of the yard, so there is a lot to be done.
To at least get a start on it, we planted 3 trees and 3 bushes and put up a little brick wall.
We moved into the house in the middle of September, so we didn't really have a chance to do anything last year, and didn't get a real idea of how much really needed to be done. When spring finally came, so did the dandelions. They were everywhere!! Beau spent lots of time spraying weeds and getting the sprinkler system fixed. The sprinklers were spraying like crazy, and half of them weren't even hitting the grass. One was spraying half way across the street! It was ridiculous!

I think Gavin already knows what he wants to play when he grows up!! BASEBALL!!!!!

I really like the brick wall with the tree and bushes. Looks good!
You yard looks really good! Every house needs trees around it! Dad says he hopes the one by the garage isn't too big! It's kinda close to the house :)
It looks very nice! I can't wait until your trees get bigger though! It'll be nice to get some shade!
NICE! Sounds like you have done alot just getting the sprinkling system working right.:) Those trees may be small now but in a very short time they will fill out. I am also concerned about the one at the garage. Nice Idea!
