Day 6,7,8

Wednesday morning Uncle Cody gave Landon rides on the zip line. Technically, they were too little to ride it, but that didn't stop anybody. Gavin had a great time on it too. It was kind of scary to watch them get to the end of the line and see the kick that it gave them. They aren't strapped in as good as you would think.

We headed back into Seattle and got tickets to ride the Monorail. The ride was only a couple of minutes long and took us within walking distance of Pike Place Market. It was crazy busy, and so much fresh fish. Eeww! I could hardly look at the fish. It was so disgusting to me. Beau was drooling over all of it. He wanted to get something so bad, but it was so expensive. Plus, we still had a couple of days until we got home. We didn't have anywhere to put it.

This little fish shop would throw the fish around every so often. They were really entertaining to watch.

After the market, we rode the Monorail back to the Space Needle for lunch. It was a fun experience. The restaurant rotates all the way around in about 40 minutes, so we were able to get an entire 360 degree view. The food was right up Beau's alley. It was very fancy and expensive. Beau got crab cakes for an appetizer and he LOVED them. For his main course he got salmon and loved that too. I got..........a cheeseburger! ;) It was a fancy one and it was HUGE!!! I only ate about 1/4 of it. Beau tried eating half of it for me, but he was pretty full too.

Wednesday was pretty much our last day together for the reunion. Thursday morning we all packed up camp. Most of the other Peterson's headed up to Vancouver to spend a couple of days, but we headed for home. We knew Beau would have a lot of worked piled up, so we had to get home as soon as possible. On our way we went through Snoqualmie. Beau stopped there last March when he and his brother went looking for dentists. He wanted to check in with a dentist he had met, but he was too busy. Instead we went and checked out the waterfall that is just around the corner from his office.

It was fairly cold when we first left, but when we got to the falls it was pretty warm. I just was lazy and didn't want to take my sweater off. So don't let my sweater fool you, it was not cold at all.

We had so much fun on our trip!! It was a long one, filled with lots of excitement, but we were sure happy to be home and get back to normal again. It was nice to see family that we don't get to see very often, and can't wait for next years reunion, where ever it might be.
